How to Register for the GCE Form

  • Connect to the internet
  • Open your web browser  and visit https://registration.waecdirect.org/
  • Students must have their registration pin
  • Then, you download the GCE Biometric Data Capture Software
  • The next step is to fill in your name and then capture your Thumb and face
  • Enter your first, middle, and surname
  • Then you also enter the exact date of birth and choose your gender
  • Then your profile will be created
  • Choose a username and create  a password
  • Capture your finger by using a fingerprint scanner
  • Login to your account with your username and password
  • Choose your Exam town
  • Choose your subjects
  • Check the information
  • Then tap the Submit button
  • Tap the print button to print your WARC exam photo card

And that is it. Before submitting your details, make sure that you check if the information you entered is correct and change any errors if found. Afterward, you can print the GCE examination photo card which has all the information you need to write the exam such as the GCE exam number, subjects, and result checker pin.

These are candidates with special needs and they would like to also register for GCE and sit for the exam. However, these candidates must state their disability such as low vision, speech, blind, spastic, and so on.

Completion of Registration

All candidates must finish their registration within the first two weeks of first access to the GCE official website during the time of registration.   • All candidates must watch the VCD given to them after the purchase of the pin prior to their exam registration

  • When registering for the exam, candidates must upload a high-quality passport photograph. The photograph background must not be red or blue. The passport size should be 275 by 314 pixels.

  • Candidates should go to the exam hall in common clothes and not any uniform.
