The Chinese Government Scholarship Program

Chinese Government Scholarship Eligibility

  • A photocopy of the highest diploma that has been verified. If applicants are university students or already employed, they must present proof of their status as students or on-post employees. Note that documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by translations into Chinese or English.
  • Undergraduate applicants must submit a validated copy of their high school transcripts. Applicants for other categories must submit authenticated transcripts that are relevant to their application.
  • A Detailed Research Plan in either Chinese or English based on the number of words required by the CSC
  • Professors or associate professors must provide two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English for applicants to Master’s or Doctoral degree programs, as well as Senior Visiting Scholars.
  • Also, applicants for Master’s or Doctoral degree programs in China must submit the Chinese higher education institution’s Admission Notice.
  • Finally, other documents and credentials needed to complete the application must be provided.
